Our industrious Rotary Interact Committee kicked off this year’s fundraising last week with our very popular College Mixer Party. The dress code was formal and the setting was the beautifully decorated Day Room and Quad. The students were served ‘Mocktails’ on arrival and then danced the night away. Over £1300 was made for Rotary Interact’s chosen charities for 2016-17: Alalay, Chernobyl Children Cancer Care Cardiff (the 5 Cs) and the ‘Pay for a Day’ appeal in support of the Marie-Curie Hospice in Penarth and Bobarth. A big thank you to all the staff that gave up their evening to make the event possible and to the College students who came and supported the event.
