ROWING
On Sunday 25th September, Becca P, Livvy W and Caitlan W from year 11 represented Llandaff Rowing Club in Double Skulls at the Monmouth Head Regatta. The girls rowed exceptionally well in a difficult field, Caitlan along with her teammate took 1st place with Livvy and Becca taking 3rd place. Well done girls, a great start to the heads season.
FENCING
Louise S (Year 11) competed in a British Ranking Competition for Cadet (U17) epée in Canterbury. Her scores from this and her two previous rankings make her 10th in Britain and she has been selected for her first European competition for GBR in Klagenfurt, Austria during half term!
HOCKEY
Year 7 Hockey Team played Glantaf on Monday 26th September. The girls performed with exception winning 5 of the 7 matches! Well done to Rebecca D, Sukie W, Rebecca L, Caitlin E, Bella M, Kaite J, Rosie T, Grace M, Olivia H, Matilda T, Sommer B, Lucy G, Sophie G, Matilda R, Sophie D!
NETBALL
Congratulations To Annabelle W, Jessica J and Isabelle W (Year 9) who were selected to attend the second round of the U14 County Netball Trials! We wish the girls the best of luck at the second trial this Thursday!
The Year 10 Netball team played against Radyr Comprehensive School on Monday 26th September. The girls played some highly competitive matches and were committed throughout! Player of the Match was awarded to Natasha S and Charlotte H. Well done to all the girls who played: Talia G, Florence M, Charlotte H, Natasha S, Megan V, Mali B, Tanya E, Amalie B, Sascha B and Chloe T.
On Thursday 22nd September two Year 8 teams had their first netball game of the year against a very strong Bro Edern.
The B team played extremely well together, working as a team creating many opportunities. They came away with a 6-4 win and player of the Match went to Georgie S! The A team fought well all the way to the end, but lost 7-3. Player of the Match went to Jennifer E.
