The Careers Department has started its post examination run of events by presenting Year 7 with their first WOW Day. The World of Work was explored along with the skills and qualities required by a range of career "families". The particular qualities of leadership and teamwork were highlighted. All students have been provided with a named document folder in which to store their work. It has been explained that they should keep these throughout their school life for self reflection as they make their career journey.
The Year 7 students engaged with great enthusiasm to produce their individual pictorial CV, along with posters which show their group research about individual jobs and finally a statement showing what they now want to be.
