This year’s theme for the Year 8 Enterprise Day was ‘The Fairytale Ball’. Armed with just newspapers, staples and sellotape the girls had to research, design and create a ball dress that would be suitable to wear for such a prestigious event. The results were amazing! All the girls worked tirelessly with endless enthusiasm and energy. The creative collaboration was fantastic! The day ended with our very own Howell’s red carpet catwalk. The atmosphere was electric as the judges deliberated on their verdict. The decision was difficult, but they finally named The Voguettes with their beautiful creation inspired by Belle from Beauty and the Beast as the winning design. The Designosaurs were also highly commended. Well done to all of Year 8 for their beautiful designs and their infectious enthusiasm!
