On Thursday, 11th June, Year 8 Howell's Award recipients had the chance to undertake the residential component of their award: a camp-out for the night on the school field. After perfecting (and for some, decorating!) their tents, they got into groups to try to win points for the House Challenge for the evening. Baldwin won, with 170 points: congratulations! After a feast of pizza and other treats, we all settled to watch films in the cosy library until it was time to settle down in the tents for the night. The teamwork and sense of fun that the girls demonstrated was lovely to see; they were a fantastic group to camp with and, judging by their tent skills, we're sure they will fare well on their Duke of Edinburgh experience in a couple of years!
