Sophie S., in Year 8, competed in a tennis tournament in Wimbledon over the summer holiday. Sophie successfully won the singles matches required to enter the main draw and also won her doubles matches in the first round. It was an excellent experience for Sophie, who will continue to work hard to try and be selected again to play again next year. Her younger sister, Olivia, who is in Howell’s Nursery, had her first tennis lesson with Tim Henman, another wonderful experience. Very well done, Sophie!
