Year 1 went on an exciting trip to Forest Fawr on Tuesday 22nd September to explore the woods. The girls followed the sculpture trail through the woods, tried to catch falling leaves, identified leaves and seeds, identified animal prints and explored woodland dens. The girls also had the opportunity to record their experiences through the ‘easy speak’ microphones and they thoroughly enjoyed interviewing each other and explaining what they could see, hear, smell and touch. The girls had a wonderful, muddy morning out of school and they would like to thank the mums who accompanied them on the trip for all their help.
