The Honours Programme for this academic year began after College on Tuesday, 29th September with a presentation by Andrew Williamson of Cardiff University. The title was "Mysteries of the Dark - Cosmology for Beginners". The lecture introduced students both to the exciting world of cosmology and to university-style teaching. The images were amazing and very well explained; the presentation opened the minds of all students, whether primarily science or arts/humanities-focused, to the fact that we know very little, if anything, about 95% of our universe - the truth is out there to be discovered!
