On Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th September cake sales were held in the Junior school staff rooms in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The Junior School staff supplied all of the cakes, both lovingly hand-made or bought, and a staggering £196.30 was then donated as the staff tucked into and thoroughly indulged in a slice of cake... or two! The cakes were also enjoyed by parents and children in our 'Stay + Play' group on Tuesday morning and our 'Stay + Sing' group on Wednesday morning and a further £80.46 was raised in cake sales at these groups. The Junior School is delighted to have been able to raise a magnificent grand total of £276.76 for Macmillan Cancer Support and through doing so shared in many coffees, cakes and laughs.
