Many congratulations to Year 10’s Hannah R.-S. who had some fantastic sailing successes over the summer holiday. Hannah was selected to represent Team GB in the European Championships (260 sailors from 37 countries). Hannah finished 1st in the silver fleet to take podium position. In the British Nationals (500 competitors) she finished 46th overall and was the 13th Brit. She was part of the team of the top three sailors to secure Cardiff Bay Yacht Club as the top British club at the event. Hannah was awarded a one-off grant by both Sports Wales and Cardiff Bay Yacht Club based on her performance and potential. She was also invited to take part in RYA Wales' strength and conditioning programme this winter for eight of South Wales' top sailors. Very well done, Hannah; amazing achievements.
