Kitty N and Alana K (Year 8) took part in the Cardiff Games Indoor Climbing Competition for pupils in years 7 and 8 today. The competition was divided into 3 groups: difficult climb, speed climb and bouldering.
The difficult climb and bouldering was judged by the climbers climbing as high as they could and reaching certain marked hand holds. Both girls scored maximum points on these two events.
The speed climb involved the girls climbing to the top of a marks climb as quickly as they could. Kitty almost ran up the climb and reached the top in under 8 seconds. Alana was about a second behind.
The girls were victorious and received their medals and trophy from the Cardiff Games organiser.
