FENCING

Louise S, left.

Louise S (Y11) had an amazing experience fencing in the GBR U17 squad in Copenhagen last weekend. There were over 200 competitors from all over the world. Fighting against other fencers at this level has pushed on her standard of fencing and she is now managing to hold her own and get hits on top fencers.

Next weekend she will be fencing for the ‘Welsh region’ in the prestigious Cadet Winton competition, hosted this year by Millfield School.  She will be part of a team of 4, fighting against the highest ranked fencers from across England.
