Unsolicited Comments from Parents

Sending my 3 year old little girl to The Nursery, at Howell's was the best decision that I have ever made. As a working mum, it is imperative that I know she is in a nurturing, kind environment, where learning and development are paramount. Howell's is outstanding.

Having attended many parents’ evenings over the years (at other schools), I found that yesterday's was by far the most informative and well organised, which was very refreshing. All the teachers were extremely well organised, approachable and informative and it was an absolute pleasure to attend. I would like to thank all involved, and the older girls and boys who gave up their time to make sure all were hydrated during the afternoon!  I feel very lucky that my daughter is receiving such care and attention in a wonderful educational environment from such clearly dedicated teachers. Thank you all.

I would like to take the opportunity of thanking all staff for making the first year of senior school a thoroughly productive, enjoyable and memorable year for my daughter. She has enjoyed the year immensely and has benefited greatly from the teaching she has received, the many wonderful trips she has been able to take part in and school life in general.

Our son has left Howell’s College enriched with new friends and confidence. We are extremely pleased with the high standard of education given, allowing him to spend two very happy College years.

Nursery parent, September 2016

Since she joined Howell's in the Nursery, my daughter has been encouraged to ask WHAT, WHY and HOW. As she comes to the end of her time in the Junior School, and gets ready for the gear change up to Senior School, we are all looking forward to the questions that are yet to come.

Howell's School provides tremendous "value-added" in terms of public examination results, which are consistently higher than predicted in independent assessments.
