On Tuesday 19th March we held our annual Celebration of Languages Evening. The evening started with an opportunity for parents to see a number of the items from this year’s Eisteddfod. These included sketches, poems, songs and recitations in Spanish, Welsh, Latin, French and English. We were also delighted that both Junior and Senior Bards could join us for the evening – reciting their winning poems. We also enjoyed musical items and dance performances by a number of students, including the senior choir – demonstrating the wealth of talent we have here at Howell’s. The evening culminated in a delicious European themed buffet. A delightful evening was had by all and I would like to thank staff, students and parents for their support of the evening.
