Year 2 were lucky enough to meet author Angela Fish on World Book Day, 2nd March. Angela talked to the girls about the inspiration for her stories, the ways that the girls could create their own story ideas and answered all their questions. They really enjoyed beginning reading "Ben and the Spider Gate", the first of Angela's stories about Ben. All the girls are eager to continue reading this in class over the next few weeks. Thank you to Angela for the lovely book cover postcards that she gave all the girls. A wonderful way to start World Book Day!
