Ben and Gran and the Whole, Wide, Wonderful World

This week Reception class have been reading Ben and Gran and the Whole, Wide, Wonderful World. Ben takes a packed lunch across the world to share with his grandma. To help the girls improve their spreading skills they made sandwiches in the classroom. We were able to spread the butter, jam and cheese all by ourselves. We cut our sandwiches and talked about 'a whole' and cutting the whole in half.
