Year 9 enjoyed an interesting and enjoyable visit to the Roman Baths and the Fashion Museum in Bath on Thursday 3rd October. In the Fashion Museum they were able to explore fashions dating from Shakespeare’s time to modern day and had the opportunity to dress up in a range of different garments. They also saw the Assembly Rooms where they could imagine scenes from Jane Austen. After lunch the students visited the Roman Baths which they had studied as a topic in their Year 8 Latin lessons. They were able to explore the physical remains of the Baths as well as seeing many well-preserved artefacts and enjoying the various interactive activities. A fascinating day for everyone!
