Elan J, Year 10, has recently become an Air Cadet as part of the 372 (Barry) Squadron, No 1 West Wing. At the end of September, she went on a Belgium/France historical trip where she had the great honour to be part of the ceremony and to represent No 1 Welsh Wing and lay at wreath at the Menin Gate Memorial in her Wedgewood blues uniform. On Monday 14th October 2019 - 372 (Barry) Squadron had their presentation evening and CDT Jones (Elan) was awarded a Commanding Officer's Commendation for Meritorious Service to 372 Barry Squadron CDT Jones. She was also awarded the "Most Promising New Cadet 2019". We looking forward to hearing about Elan's adventures with the Air Cadets.
