On Tuesday 22nd January, Year 11's Religious Studies students set off to London for a Jewish Living tour. The students visited a modern Orthodox synagogue and learnt about its functions as well as Jewish festivals, the role of women and rites of passage. After lunch at a Kosher restaurant and a wander around the Jewish shops they were lucky enough to visit the Jewish Free School (JFS). At JFS they spoke to students the same age and exchanged experiences of school life. It was a very enjoyable day for everyone involved.
