Friday 18th May was a very special day in the College, as we said goodbye and good luck in true Howell’s style to Year 13, who have now embarked on their study
leave. Many of them will be back in school next week, making use of the silent study facilities in the library, but Friday was their final one together as a whole year
group. Students and staff came together this morning, sharing a special brunch as they made some tearful speeches and watched some brilliant video compilations. We will miss this extraordinary group of young people enormously and wish them the very best of luck in whatever they go on to do. We know they all have bright futures ahead and we will, I'm sure, hear a lot more from them all. We very much look forward to welcoming them back to Howell’s as Hywelians for the first time at Prize Giving on Thursday 6th September, and also for Cocktails at Christmas in the Great Hall on Monday 17th December.
