On Friday 8th December, we welcomed more than 140 guests for the inaugural Great Hall Christmas Ball. It was wonderful to host everyone in such glittering surroundings, with the Great Hall transformed into a Winter Wonderland for the evening, thanks to the creative efforts of the Howell’s family. On arrival,guests enjoyed drinks with musical accompaniment from Hywelian Alice Leggett and her Jazz Trio. Everyone then moved to the Great Hall for a delicious three course meal. During the evening a raffle was drawn and a competitive game of Heads and Tails took place. The evening culminated with guests taking to the twinkling dance floor where they danced the night away. We are indebted to the members of the Parent Pyramid who organised this very special evening and to the individuals and businesses who donated prizes and offered sponsorship. Thank you also to everyone who joined us for the evening, which was fundraising for the Bursary Fund. We can't wait to do it again next year!
