On Tuesday 20th November, students from Years 11,12 and 13 enjoyed a thought provoking and very informative lecture by Mrs Helen Davies on Forgotten Women in History. Mrs Davies spoke with great enthusiasm and clarity about a range of Forgotten Women including Clara Zeitkin, the German revolutionary and advocate for women's rights. The students also thoroughly enjoyed hearing about gender history and why understanding different interpretations of events matters.
