On Wednesday 14th March, two Year 8 teams travelled to Monmouth to take part in the Junior Quiz Challenge. Fiercely competitive and fuelled by nerves and the odd biscuit, both teams acquitted themselves well in the early rounds of the competition, with Howell's B winning both ties to progress through to the semi-finals. Lauren W, Lauren M, Fizzah, Connie, Nayana, Mia S, Meher and Eluned answered a huge range of questions on authors, history, science and cities. We are so proud of their amazing general knowledge — fabulous quizzing, girls!
