Junior Rounders and Cricket at Monmouth

Thirty-eight girls from Year 6 travelled to Monmouth on Wednesday 24th May to take on Inglefield House in rounders and cricket fixtures. In what was a first cricket match for many of the girls, scores were very close with the hosts winning by 11 runs. The three rounders games were dominated by strong batting, with Howell's winning each of them and scoring 58 rounders in the process. This is a testament to their hard work in PE and Monday's after-school club, where Mr Baker and Mrs Peter are able to work on game-play and tactics to accompany the batting, bowling and fielding skills. Well done to all girls who took part in both sports, and thank you to Inglefield House for hosting another lovely fixture!
