Congratulations to Year 12’s Lucy C, whose GCSE DT project has been nominated by the external verifier for a WJEC Innovation Award 2019. The awards celebrate the most forward thinking projects in Wales at GCSE, AS and A level. Lucy was one of only nine girls to be nominated for an award at GCSE. The innovation exhibition has been on display in Cardiff and Lucy’s work has been selected to also be displayed in north Wales as part of the innovation roadshow. Lucy has done remarkably well to be nominated and this is a real celebration of the possibilities for students at Howell’s.
