It was National Poetry Day on 6th October and this year's theme was ‘The Environment’. In English lessons, students have been using words from a Greenpeace article to create poems. They have also thought about lots of different poetry prompts to get them thinking about many of the possible ways that poetry can be used to explore a theme. We can’t wait to read all the entries for the school competition, which has a deadline of Monday 17th October at 11:30.
