Poetry Club's Words for Wellbeing

As part of headsup@howells week, Poetry Club studied and wrote about the creeper that is tumbling over the wall next to the bandstand, as it turned to bright autumn colours. Afterwards, we discussed how writing poetry about nature had benefitted our wellbeing.  Answers such as ‘it has helped focus my mind,’ and ‘I actually stopped stressing about other things,’ were great reminders of the power of writing to relax. Two of our Year 7 poets would like to share their beautiful poems inspired by that day. Please click HERE to read them.
