As part of their topic, Italian Adventure, Year 4 visited the Roman Fortress of Isca in Caerleon. They went to Roman school, experienced a barrack room and dressed up as Roman soldiers. Braving the weather, they then explored the remains of the amphitheatre and the barracks. Here the girls found out about the life of a soldier and the entertainment that was available to them.
