On Monday 15th July, our Rotary Interact Committee held the annual end of year charity quiz night. The Pavilion was the perfect venue on a sunny evening. There was a real buzz from the 60+ contestants: College students, Howell’s staff and Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Cardiff Breakfast. The teams were put through gruelling rounds on English Literature, Science and Maths, Humanities, Celebrities and Sport. Congratulations to the winners (on a tie break!) Mrs King, Mrs Christ, Dr Knowles, Mrs Elmes, Mr Walters, Miss Cockburn and Mrs Persson from our English and Maths departments and to the runners up, College students Janelle B, Marie B, Jenna D, Amani K and Esther P. Funds raised from ticket sales and the raffle amounted to over £300 in aid of Mind Cymru. A very big thank you to everyone who took part, donated raffle prizes or helped with the organisation of the event.
