The Year 8 Dance Squad and the Elite Dance Squad showcased their talents in the recent Schools’ Dance Festival held at St.David’s Hall on Monday 4th and Monday 18th February.
This year’s event, organised by the Cardiff & Vale Schools’ Dance Association and Rubicon Dance Company, was an amazing success with over 1500 performers from 60 schools across Cardiff and the Vale taking part. The ethos of the event is for children and young people to inspire each other. This means that dancers were able to observe each other before and after they had performed. Many congratulations to the girls who performed with exception and really set the standard on the evenings they performed. The feedback from the audience was overwhelming on both evenings!
