Abigail S, Year 6, won a bronze medal on Wednesday 11th October at the South West qualifier for the British Shooting Schools Pistols Championships at Leweston School, Sherborne. She was competing against 60 other competitors from Years 6, 7 and 8. This means she has qualified to attend the National Final in Stoke Mandeville Stadium in January.
This is Abigail's first "pure" shooting competition and the first time she has shot over 10m, so she is rightly delighted with her medal, and she even got to meet some Olympians!
