The red carpet was rolled out and training gear replaced with posh frocks and dinner suits on Wednesday 25th April for this year’s Sport Awards Dinner to celebrate the sporting achievements of students in Years 10-13. This prestigious black tie event included a delicious three course dinner, punctuated with award presentations, speeches and a video showcasing the sporting highlights of the year. This year’s inspirational speaker was Olympic sprinter Christian Malcolm, who hot footed it to school directly from the Senedd, where he was attending the homecoming celebration for the Welsh team from the Commonwealth Games in Australia. Christian had been one of Wales' Commonwealth Games ambassadors following his stellar career on the track. It was a very special evening, greatly enjoyed by all.
