GDST Rally U15 Netball
The U15s faced tough competition at the rally; playing in their pool they took some good victories, displaying excellent skills and quick passing up the court. After making it to the 7/8th place play off Howell’s finished in 7th place overall out of 22 GDST schools.

1st VII Netball Presidents Cup
The 1sts took on some tough local competition; Glantaf, Whitchurch, and Plasmawr. Unfortunately we faced Glantaf first who were our toughest competition; they were polished and ready for action and outwitted Howell’s during the match. After re-composing ourselves we went on to beat Whichurch and Plasmawr with excellent displays of shooting from Jessica.

U13 Hockey V Plasmawr
The U13s had a good friendly against our local rivals Plasmawr. The girls played some excellent hockey, moving the ball effectively up the pitch and staying composed in the ‘D’. The result was unanimous for Howell’s, and Lucy G was nominated as the player of the match.

1st XI Hockey V Radyr
The girls had a fantastic start to the season, with the team being supplemented by some of fantastic U15s. There was some outstanding play from Sophie E, and Charlotte J lead the team to victory through great communication and her inclusive nature. Lily R dominated the game having a deserving hand in all six of Howell’s goals. Well done ladies!

3rd Round Cross Country
Fiona yet again ran a great race, holding a solid 3rd position from the corner of the 1st lap. She paced herself well and maintained good technique throughout the race. Katie also ran well; but suffered a small injury to her hip flexor. Our four year 7s ran a great race, showing determination and resilience around the course, finishing in the following order: Lauren, Anna, Ellie and Esther.

U14 Netball Cardiff Games
The U14s had an enjoyable afternoon playing four games at the Cardiff Games Tournament. All the players had a great afternoon and came away winning all of their games.
