We were delighted to hear about the fantastic successes of sisters Amelie and Isabella C. In chess, Amelie, Year 4, qualified for the UK Terafinal in second position in the UK for her age group. She took part in the prestigious competition on the 5th and 6th September, competing against the highest ranking boys and girls in the UK during this two-day competition. Amelie did brilliantly and was in the top three girls in the UK. Isabella, Year 6, also qualified for the Terafinal—for the fourth year in a row—qualifying in the top five in the UK Gigafinal. Despite tough competition, Isabella was placed in the top 10 in the UK; an amazing achievement! Amelie has also been selected to represent South Wales in tennis for the second year running. Very well done girls, we are extremely proud of you both!
