The NSPCC Visit the Junior School

On Friday 4th May, the Junior School we visited by Sara Phillips from the NSPCC who delivered assemblies to the girls in Reception to Year 6, covering their “Speak out. Stay safe” programme. With the help of their mascot, Buddy, Sara provided child friendly information and additional workshops for the girls in Year 5 and 6 discussing abuse in all its forms, to ensure they know how to protect themselves, how to get help and the sources of help available to them, including Childline. As a Junior School, we would like to support the work of the NSPCC. The School Council met with Sara earlier this week and have decided to organise a sponsored swim during the week beginning 18th June.
