The Scottish Play

Year 10 and Year 11 students preparing Macbeth for their GCSE examinations went to Wales Millennium Centre on Tuesday 19th March to watch the National Theatre's latest version of Shakespeare's classic play. Many of our students were treated to a pre-performance workshop when members of the cast and crew came in to discuss their roles and the concepts behind the adaptation which set the play in a post-apocalyptic society and setting. Several members of staff joined the group, including Mrs Davis. The post production discussions in class have been very impressive.
