On Wednesday 7th March, the Howell’s Elite Dance squad entered into the Urdd National Dance Competition held at Barry Memorial Hall.
The girls worked tirelessly to learn new choreography and enhance their repertoire and skills in weekly rehearsals leading up to the event.
The girls performed with exception and the dance piece was well received by the judges and audience. The team are through to the National final in May and we wish them all the best.
Congratulations to all the girls: Olivia D, Hannah J (both Year 7), Elan J, Meg G, Mathilda T, Isabella M, Niamh S (all Year 8), Eleanor J and Georgia K (both Year 9).
Unfortunately, keen and talented dancer Olivia D (Year 10) was injured outside of school and had to withdraw from the team only weeks before the competition. We hope she will re-join the group next term as she was sadly missed.
