Welsh Schools’ Ski Championship 2018

Our intrepid skiiers braved stormy skies and flooded roads to get to the Welsh Schools’ Ski Championships at Llangrannog on Sunday 14th October, and it was worth the early start and the hairy driving conditions.

Congratulations to Gethin J, Year 12, who was the highest placed boy at the Welsh Schools’ Ski Championships. He was placed 1st in the U18 race and was overall winner of the boys’ race, picking up the fastest time for a non Welsh-squad boy.

Well done to Ziraili U, Year 11, who came second in the U18 girls race and Jess M, Year 6, who secured a gold in the Registered U12 race. The Howell's Girls Senior A Team—Lucy M, Year 8, Laura H, Year 8, and Ziraila— came 6th overall and qualified for the British Championships to be held on the 18th November in Edinburgh.

Huge congratulations to Lottie M, Year 3, who came 2nd in the U10 unregistered girls race.
