World Book Night 2019

Howell’s School, Llandaff was once again chosen as a giving centre for World Book Night and although it occurred during the Easter holiday, students and staff were asked to take a few books to encourage reading in the wider community. Howell’s very own science technician, Gill Stevens, is pictured passing a copy of this year’s book, Artemis by Andy Weir, author of “The Martian”, to Gill Thomas, president of Gwaelod-y-Garth Women’s Institute. The book is now making its way round the members.
