Last week, on Friday 15th February, Year 2 visited the National Museum Cardiff, to find out more about dinosaurs as part of their Out of Eggs topic. They visited the New Welsh Dinosaur exhibition, finding out more about the remains of a new species of dinosaur discovered in Penarth in 2015. They also visited the Evolution of Wales exhibition, taking a step back into time and looking at the exhibits and remains from the different dinosaur eras. The girls all enjoyed getting up close and personal with real bones, finding out the answers to many of their questions and sketching some of the exhibits. Many thanks to the parents who accompanied Year 2 on the day.
