Howell's girls to judge Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize competition

Howell’s School Library has once again been chosen to help judge the prestigious Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize. Congratulations to the following students who all wrote interesting, informative and lively letters explaining their love of science and why they should be chosen as a judge:

Aishu R. (Head Judge)
Amani K-A.
Sadie H.
Ellie M.
Sarah O.
Sonali S.

This team of Year 7 science-loving readers will be judges for the prestigious award over the coming months and helping decide which author wins the £10,000 prize! The judging panel will meet in the Library on a weekly basis to discuss the books, write reviews and decide on their top choice for the award. You can find out all about the Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize here: https://royalsociety.org/awards/young-people/ The winner will be announced in November 2014.
