Teams take part in Public Speaking Competition

On Tuesday night, 18th November, two teams from Howell’s took part in the BPW Public Speaking Competition at The Cathedral School, Llandaff. The Year 11 team, Anamika, Udita and Charlotte, and the College team, Sian-Azilis, Abi and Reem A, put a lot of effort into their roles and gave excellent performances on the night. We heard interesting talks on a wide range of topics, including whether Britain should contribute more efforts against the spread of Ebola and, in contrast, the benefits of reality television! A special mention should be made of those who took up their roles at late notice and delivered a high standard of speech.  The Howell’s College team came second in the competition and we are very proud of all the girls’ efforts – well done!
