Sports successes

During half term, Annie E. (Year 10), Isabelle W. (Year 7) and Annabelle W. (Year 7) got through to the Local Authority Netball Hub, which is part of the entire Welsh Development Programme. Sara J. (Year 10) also got through to the Development Squad. These are fantastic achievements and are very tough stages to progress towards. Congratulations to all, and watch this space!

Claudia M. (Year 9) won the Gold Medals in the 50m and 100m freestyle at the Level 1 Welsh Capital Open Meet last weekend. This is an outstanding achievement and we are very proud! Well done!

On 17th November, the Year 7 Hockey team had a great start to the week with two victories over Corpus Christi. One of our teams won 13-0 and the other team won 3-0, displaying how well they play as a team. The standard of play for the Year 7s is fantastic and they all show great potential! Well done! The following day, the Under 16 Hockey team got through to the County Final after an exciting 3-2 victory over Cowbridge Comprehensive School. The Howell’s girls came from two goals down to make a sensational comeback. Goals came from Liz C-P., Emma G. & Ellie H. Well done, girls!
