Morfydd Morgan, née Llewelyn was born on 11th April 1907. She joined the sixth form as a boarder from Fishguard but missed her large family and did not stay long. She was a pupil in Miss Trotter’s day and was friendly with Beti Rees, who went on to open the first Welsh Language bookshop in Cardiff. Mrs Morgan can recall a number of details about her schooldays, including walking around the school field before breakfast and secretly finishing off her homework by torchlight under her bedclothes! She still lives on her own and hopes to visit school in the spring.
