On Tuesday 2nd December, the Bridgend Branch of the Hywelian Guild held their traditional Advent service in Holy Cross Parish Church, Cowbridge, followed by lunch in The Bear Hotel. A group of girls from Year 7 came from Howell’s to the service, and they loved seeing the Christmas trees with which the church is adorned - 67 in total this year, decorated by schools, local organisations and businesses for the Festival which the church holds every year.
