Hannah Mills, who left school in 2006, has become the first Welsh athlete to be selected to compete at the 2012 London Olympics. She will be competing for Team GB with her sailing partner, Saskia Clark, in the 470 class, in which they are already the World Cup runners-up. Hannah is a former world junior champion. The Olympic bid will begin on 2 August at the 2012 Games sailing venue at Weymouth near to where Hannah now lives, and the medal race and victory ceremony are on 10 August. We warmly congratulate her and wish her the best of luck.
