Desirée W. (Year 10) recently achieved a Gold Certificate in the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge and went through to the next competition, called the Pink Kangaroo challenge. We are pleased to announce that Desirée achieved a score of 82. This placed her in the top 25% in the country of those who reached this advanced stage of the competition. The mean score was 66 and she needed a score of at least 76 in order to place her in the top 25%. Desirée has been awarded a Certificate of Merit. Many congratulations to her and to the Maths Department!
