Emma's golfing glory

Emma G. in Year 11 has been enjoying a summer of golf, playing for Glamorganshire’s 1st team in Penarth. Countless successes include qualifying in the top eight for the Ladies' Championship, making her the youngest player the club has had at that stage of the competition. Although Emma was knocked out before the final, she will have many more chances to reach the final in years to come.  On top of this, Emma represented Glamorgan in the U16s' Inter-counties Championship. These are fantastic achievements and we wish her luck for the winter season when she will practise at the county headquarters with hope of reducing her handicap, allowing her to enter the team for the County Ladies. Fingers crossed, Emma!
