The school magazines from the very first one (1924) to 2002 have been digitised and are now available to view on-line. There is a full search facility, which means that if you want to check up on whether you or your mother, great-aunt, cousin or other Hywelian was in a school sports team, a prefect, wrote a poem that was published in one of the magazines and so on, all you need to do is to enter the key word or words and you will find the reference very easily. You can also find information about staff, prize-giving reports, photographs and all sorts of other things. To access the magazines, go to the school website, look in the Hywelian Archives section and follow the instructions. We are asking people to request a password simply so that we can monitor usage of the facility. Next year we plan to have the Hywelian magazines similarly digitised.
