College Rugby team scores great victory at Cardiff Arms Park

The boys finished the Rugby Season in style with an emphatic 10 try victory against Cantonian on a sun- soaked Cardiff Arms Park on 9th April. Both teams were excited about playing at this iconic venue and it proved a reasonably matched contest up to half time. However in the second period the fitness and skill levels of the Howell's players came to the fore to rack up a 68 - 14 victory. Tries were scored by Mike S.(2), Tom M.(2), Taylor R. Z., Conner N., James W., Henry R., Tom J. and Jon H., with conversions added by Henry(6), Tom M.(2) and Tom J.

Mr Sweeney, the rugby coach, would like to thank Tom J., Dom C., Rob L. and Tom M. from Year 13 for their commitment over the last few seasons and wish them all the best for the future. The current Year 12s have shown excellent potential and Howell's should have a strong team next season
